  • Haiti Earthquake

I know that this is a bit late, but today I was looking at the pictures from the Haiti earthquake, and for me these pictures really speak louder than words.  I hope and wish for the best for everyone there, and I hope for a quick recovery for the people and the country.

I was reading today that survivors are still being pulled from the rubble, and I hope that they keep finding more survivors.

Here are the pictures from the disaster:

  • I Met Someone Who Changed My Life

Just yesterday, I met a new friend who changed my life.

I'd been hearing about this person from my friends that knew her, and yesterday I finally got to meet her for myself.  We didn't even talk for that long initially, but what she said stayed with me.  You could tell by her vibes, her whole demeanor, that she was happy in life.  You can see how dedicated she is, how determined, how motivated.  It really amazed me.

You know when you meet someone that just inspires you to want to be a better person? That happened to me yesterday.

  • Explosions in the Sky

Explosions in the Sky are an instrumental band from Texas that are absolutely great.  Haven't heard music this good in a really long time, seriously.

    What do you think?

  • The Whole Roman Polanski Thing

     Hey,

So I have to say this whole Roman Polanski case is just sick.  You read on the news not about how terrible what he did was, but you just read about his stupid ass lawyer saying he's going to get to the bottom of why the US wants to arrest Roman.  Um, well, let's see...he raped a 13 year old girl for crying out loud!  yes, he's a good director, and yes, her mom should have known better than to leave her daughter with an old guy she doesn't know, and yes, it was 30+ years ago, but he still did it and he deserves to be in jail.

    OK, end of rant.

What are your thoughts on it?
